EDAC's ART AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
What is an Art Ambassador?
Art Ambassadors are volunteers who promote EDAC's mission:
Enriching the Community through the Visual, Performing and Literary Arts
What is expected of an Art Ambassador?
- Be a member in good standing with EDAC
- Attend quarterly membership mixers and volunteer trainings
- Volunteer at one or more EDAC fundraising events
- Help staff EDAC gallery at least one Saturday every other month
- Make welcome calls to new members and invite them to events
- Act as a liaison for EDAC with other arts organizations
Why become an Ambassador?
- Meet others who are passionate about the Arts
- Be involved with El Dorado County's "umbrella" visual, performing & literary arts organization
- Learn more about visual, performing and literary arts
- Provide community service & develop leadership skills
- Receive our monthly e-mail newsletter and keep up on all the Art Happenings in El Dorado County
- Enjoy Art Ambassador Appreciation rewards & events
- Join the Art Ambassador on-line directory (with personal bio, if desired)
