Become an EDAC Member
The El Dorado Arts Council (EDAC) cordially invites you to become a member. EDAC is a private, nonprofit corporation, dedicated to bringing the arts to El Dorado County residents and its young students. Since 1984, EDAC has been designated as the State-Local Partner to the California Arts Council by the County Board of Supervisors.
In our fast paced society, EDAC believes that the arts are a vital humanizing element that encourages understanding and mutual respect. By making music, dance, theater and the visual arts accessible to the residents of our County, especially our children, EDAC empowers a new generation to understand the personal and social value of the arts as a means of expression and communication.
EDAC serves as the county’s umbrella organization for individual artists and arts organizations, providing them with a variety of programs and services. It is through membership, donations and fund-raising events that El Dorado Arts Council is able to make such services available.
