ArtsBank Gives Grants to Schools
The El Dorado Arts Council is proud to announce ArtsBank is still going strong.
HOW IT WORKS
ArtsBank is a grant program through which El Dorado Arts Council, EDAC, offers schools funds to bring visual, literary, and performing arts to students. Schools select artists from the ArtsBank catalog, a directory of professional artists who have been screened and approved by EDAC's Art in Education Committee. Participating schools may engage artists from this catalog throughout the year.
WHERE DO I FIND AN ARTSBANK CATALOG?
A limited number of 2008-2009 Catalogs will be available for pick up on Sept. 8th at the EDAC Gallery. We will soon be posting the 2008-2009 ArtsBank Catalog. The 2007-2008 Artsbank Catalog is available for reference through this link: 2007-08 ArtsBank Catalog.
HOW DOES OUR SCHOOL APPLY FOR A GRANT?
Please contact EDAC at EDAC@eldoradoartscouncil.org or (530) 295-3496 to have an application emailed to your school. Or download our short Artsbank grant application and guidelines.
Applications must be received by Friday, May 9, 2008.
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN EACH SCHOOL GET?
The grant limit is $1,000 per school. Please see the Artsbank grant application for requirements and guidelines.
